College group leading Connections worship

FLUM’s College Ministry did a great job last Sunday during the Connections service. Great job, youth, showing up and singing out!

Our last trip to Midnight Sushi is this Friday night (Aug. 4). We’ll meet in the church parking lot at 10 p.m. and return at midnight. Bring a friend and join us!

Bags 197-201 are ready to go to the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. If you can take them, let me know.

Youth Back to School Party is this Sunday night. We will have tons of snacks and tons of fun. It will also be our last extended hours event of the summer.

En Fuego is Aug. 26 in Verbena, Alabama. Who wants to go? If we can get at least 10 people signed up, we will take the bus. It’s a free concert with six or seven tops bands in Christian music today. Sign up begins this Sunday night!

Go Night will be moved to Aug. 13, and Worship in the Hut starts back on Aug. 20! Woohoo!!!!

Fall calendars are now available. Tailgates, trips, a lock-in, and special Wednesday night activities have been planned and we are ready to get rolling. Look for a few intergenerational events this fall, also. If you love football, we might have a few additional activities you’ll want to participate in. More details to come.
