Youth News 8-25-17

This Saturday is our big day at Lake Nicol. Join us for a day of canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fun! We will meet in the parking lot this Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and head over to Lake Nicol. Daniel will already be there getting things ready for our fun day. We will grill there, and snacks and drinks will be provided. Bring a friend and join the fun this Saturday.

Worship in the Hut has started back. We had 42 in the worship this past Sunday! Invite a friend and join us this Sunday night at 7 p.m. for Worship in the Hut.

Our first Youth Tailgate is coming up on Friday, Sept, 8 from 9 p.m. to midnight. We will meet in the Mecredy Center. Food, fun, fellowship, and maybe a little Wii Bowling awaits. More details to come.

If you can take bags 206-210 to the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter next week, let me know.

On Wednesday nights for the next five weeks we are studying the Psalms and relating it to our church study on poverty. Join us in the Youth Room each Wednesday night at 6 p.m. for conversation or at 6:30 p.m. for our Bible Study. Recreation will begin around 7:15 p.m. and parents can pick up at 8 p.m.

Who’s ready to paint more rocks and hide them around campus? Details to come!

If anyone has a bean bag or a cool chair you would like to donate to the Youth Room, let me know. We are always looking for cool, unusual seating.
