A special 5th Sunday Night Celebration is happening
at UMYF this Sunday night. Bring your friends and join
the fun as we munch on pizza, have a sing-along/
karaoke session with the youth band, and play a little
four-square. The fun starts at 6:30pm!!! Also, you can
invite friends to come Sunday, September 5th as we
have a Go Night that night. We will travel to Midtown
for supper and fun. Youth Room stays open until
9:00pm on that Sunday.

Huge thanks to all the Youth who help at the church this past weekend. We
cleaned the church’s storage shed and filled the giant dumpster in an hour!
If you have a school event coming up, add it to the Youth Calendar. We are
going to tailgate a few this fall and we are making plans NOW!! The Youth Calendar
is in our hallway by the double doors and blue couch.

When George Washington was a teenager, he wrote down some life rules all
people should follow. Here are a few:
*in the presence of others sing not to yourself with a humming noise, nor drum
with your fingers or feet
*when in company, put not your hands to any part of the body, not usually
discovered
*use no reproachful language against anyone, neither curse at them or insult
them
*spit not in the fire, nor stoop low before it, especially if there be meat before it
