Worship in the Hut kicks off this Sunday night. Come early at 6 p.m. for supper. Worship will start at 7 p.m. Bring a friend and let’s fill the Mecredy Center!
Big thanks to everyone who attended Go Night last Sunday. We had a very nice crowd at Midtown and had fun. Next Go Night is Sept. 3.
Since not much interest was shown for En Fuego this year, we have changed our plans. Daniel Smith is going to help lead a kayak/canoe adventure at Lake Nicol on Aug. 26. In addition to the water fun on the lake, we will be grilling burgers there. Save the date and join us on the 26th! More details this week at church.
Our first Youth Tailgate is Friday night, Sept.8. If you are going to your high school’s football game that night, no worries. This first Youth Tailgate will start at 9 p.m. and last until midnight. Bring a friend and join the fun this fall at our Youth Tailgates!
The rocks painted by the youth and college groups are being found. One has even been re-hidden in Vernon, Alabama by a family visiting campus last week. More rock painting to come!
We will continue our study of the book of Psalms on Wednesday nights for the next few weeks. We will use our study to focus on the needs of our community. The Wednesday night schedule looks like this:
5 – 6 p.m. – Wednesday Night Meal
6 – 6:30 p.m. – Youth Gathering
6:30 – 7:15 p.m. – Youth Bible Study
7:15-8 p.m. – Recreation
