Midnight sushi at
the lock-in!

Big thanks to Emily for taking six bags of cans to the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter this week. This brings our total to 184 bags! If you can take a few bags, we have some ready to go. Let me know.

Another thanks to Eli for helping me clean out the youth closet this week. We made several trips to the garage sale room and to the dumpster. Next Service Day is this Monday, June 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. More details at Youth this Sunday night.

Game Night is this Friday night from 7 to 10 p.m. Bring your favorite board games and some records. Our turntable/sound system in the youth room is ready to go!

Kickball on the Quad this Sunday night! We will meet in the parking lot at 6:30 p.m. and travel to the Quad. Bring a few dollars … we will stop for an Icee on the way back to the church.

We had a blast at the Out-of-School Lock-in this past weekend. We played kickball, sardines, ate sushi, and managed to get a couple of hours of sleep. Thanks to the college group for hanging out with us for most of the night. We have another lock-in planned for July. Watch this space for details soon!

Our Sunday night praise band will be playing at 1 p.m. during the Day of Worship event on June 17. “Finding Favor” and “I Am They” are the national headlining bands. If you need ticket information, see Will or me. Tickets are only $10 for this all-day event.
