Outreach Update 12-16-17

WOW how generous our church is to others. As is our tradition the church gave hundreds of presents to the elderly and the children in our community who are low income. We have also given to all of our mission budget commitments: John Elmore our missionary, Habitat Methodist Build, Good Samaritan Clinic, Jesus Way Homeless Shelter, In As much Fund, Weekday Kids Scholarship, Meals on Wheels. THANK YOU all.

Our college age mission trip members will fly out of Atlanta, Sunday the 17th at 9:00am for Dominican Republic with Filters of Hope. We have ten students/young adults and three adults on the trip. Kevin and Melissa Thomas are leading the group. Please keep them in your prayers as they travel, teach families how to use the 150 water filters, and share the Gospel of Christ. THANK YOU also for all the donations. You are the reason this trip is possible.

Christmas Day Meals on Wheels
On Christmas Day we serve Meals on Wheels to individuals who do not have family to help them with their meal. We are looking for a team of five people who will help us prepare the meal on Sunday, Christmas Eve, from 10 am- noon. We need four people to come back on Christmas morning from 9 -11 am to put the meal in the to go boxes. We also need people to make seven cakes for the dessert. They can be delivered Sunday morning on Christmas Eve. If you would like to sign up to deliver meals, make cakes, cook or put the meal together, please let the church office know.
