New Wednesday Classes
Beginning October 18
Writing with a Purpose
Come brush up on your writing skills. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned writer, this class will give you opportunities to improve your skills in fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, church stories, etc. You’ll even get the chance to develop a Lenten Devotion to be published in the church devotional guide next year. This class will be led by published author Carol Ezell.
History of Tuscaloosa
Jim Ezell will lead you through an abbreviated version of his OLLI course on our favorite hometown! From Native Americans to National Champions, you’ll get the chance to celebrate our rich heritage. Come get to know T’town like never before.
Teach Us to Pray
The disciples understood that prayer is a skill that can be learned. Jesus’ prayers were different from any they had heard. So, they asked, “Lord, teach us to pray.” Prayer is still the powerhouse for all Christian movements, yet many believers struggle with this vital practice. We invite you to join us as Clemmie Hilton will share valuable insights into prayer.
The Legacy Journey is a seven-week, biblically based class that teaches you how to truly live and leave a legacy for generations to come. This class will lead you deeper into investing, basic estate planning, purposeful living, safeguarding your legacy, and discovering the keys to generational wealth and true generosity. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small-group activities, you’ll learn a biblical framework for living intentionally now so that later you’ll be able to leave a legacy that will secure your family’s future and make a lasting impact on the world around you. This class will be led by Andy Kuhl. It will also be offered on Thursday nights beginning October 19.
