Affirmation of Faith—From 1 Corinthians 15:1-6 and Colossians 1:15-20 (888)—Zac
This is the good news
which we have received,
in which we stand,
and by which we are saved:

Christ died for our sins,
was buried,
was raised on the third day,
and appeared first to the women,
then to Peter and the Twelve,
and then to many faithful witnesses.

We believe Jesus is the Christ,
the Anointed One of God,
the firstborn of all creation,
the firstborn from the dead,
in whom all things hold together,
in whom the fullness of God
was pleased to dwell
by the power of the Spirit.
Christ is the head of the body, the church,
and by the blood of the cross
reconciles all things to God. Amen.

Gloria Patri—Luvada & Hyunhee
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son:
and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be:
world without end. Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer—Zac
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power,and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Psalter—Zac, Luvada, & Hyunhee—Psalm 23 (Page 754)
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters;
3 he restores my soul.
He leads me in right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I fear no evil;
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff—
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long.

Special Music:–Luvada & Hyunhee
“In Christ Alone” – Words & Music by Keith Getty, Stuart Townsend, Shawn Craig & Don Koch
Arranged by Benjamin Harlan

In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song;
this cornerstone, this solid ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace, when fears are stilled when striving cease.
My comforter, my all in all, here in the love of Christ I stand.
There in the ground his body lay, Light of the World by darkness slain;
then bursting forth in glorious day, up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory, sin’s curse has lost its grip on me;
for I am His and He is mine, bought with the precious blood of Christ.

In Christ alone I place my trust and find my glory in the power of the cross.
In every victory let it be said of me, my source of strength, my source of hope is Christ alone.
No guilt in life, no fear in death, this is the power of Christ in me;
from life’s first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny.
No power of hell, no scheme of man, can ever pluck me from His hand;
‘til He returns or calls me home, here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand!

In Christ alone I place my trust and find my glory in the power of the cross.
In every victory, my source of strength, my source of hope in Christ alone.

Scripture Reading—Kevin—John 10:7-10
So again Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and bandits; but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
